how to get rid of mobile phone addiction

“The most polluting element in the earth’s environment is the spread of electromagnetic fields. I consider that to be a far greater threat on a global scale than warming, or the increase of chemical elements in the environment.”, says Dr. Robert Becker. Studies proved, most people can’t live without their cell phones. And it becomes worse when people would rather look into their phones while talking to a real person. Also, it has been proved that people wake in the morning and the first thing they look out for is a mobile phone. This is called Nomophobia. Nomophobia is the fear of being without your smartphone, or more simply smartphone addiction. Want to defeat this phobia? Here are the some of the key tips to get rid of mobile phone addiction. 1. Change phone Settings: Select a low notification setting. Lesser notifications means less distractions and cravings to look at your smartphone. You know a single notification can lead to wastage of one hour. Fortunately, notifications can be decreased and this can be a good way of getting rid of phones. 2. Uninstall Unnecessary apps: There are always some unwanted apps in everyone’s phone. Technically, this will not only free up time, but also releases the device’s storage. So get rid of such apps and get rid of the phone. This will surely work. 3. An hour before Bed, switch off your phone: Always tired? Try this and feel the change. Silent won’t work because that blinking or vibration will make you reach for the phone. And most importantly, you will have a better sleep for sure. 4. Indulge in Physical activities: Instead of using mobile phones in the early morning, you should go for a long walk or for some sports activity. This will not only help in getting rid of your phone, but also you will have a better physique and posture. 5. Limit mobile phone usage: You should set some boundaries for phone usage, like no phone usage while eating, in social places, in the restroom, etc. Start one by one, instead obligating all these ways together. You will see a huge difference in you. Be smart and limit your smartphone usage. For more such content subscribe to my blog
